USA Trip – Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon

We are camping in our RV in an RV park in the Grand Canyon. It’s supposed to be really hot but it’s freezing! I am still having lots of fun. One morning three elk were eating right outside our window! Later on we went on a helicopter ride! I felt sick until we got into the air and slowed down. The view was so nice I could see the red rocks and the bright blue (literally) river. I could not believe it when I saw how much grass and trees and bushes there were! Liam wanted to see a bison on the helicopter ride, “IT’S NOT HAPPENING” I did not want to leave when we landed! OH MY GOSH! Dillon got a toy helicopter and called it Heli! It does not fly though. It only spins around in circles like it is chasing its tail while doing a funny dance and saying “beep, beep, beep, beep”. Can I tell you something weird about Dillon? Every time he names something he calls it liony, birdie, tigey, monkey, piggy, kitty, doggie and… you get the picture right? But he’s lots of fun to play with. Today he was sleeping for about 2 hours and I missed playing with him a lot. But if there is anything I miss the most it’s probably my school. So if you are ever leaving for two months ( that’s a very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time) remember that you should still be happy to come home (even if that includes coming home to do DIPL)!
